Godot Feedback

I received some very useful feedback on my game! The aesthetic of my game and the sound design received positive reviews. Something I should improve is fixing a bug with the enemies where they player gets stuck after killing an enemy. Thank you for the feedback!

My Godot Progress Week 2

Here is my current progress I’ve made over the second week of working with Godot. This week I learned how to make different types of enemies and import models into my game. I plan to expand the level and play around with how the enemies look like and polish the color palette so everything looks united.

My Godot Scene

It is very exciting to work with a software, even though figuring out the controls is difficult. I plan to make my game in pastel colors and have somewhat of a magical forest feel to it. I think I will switch the layout of this level but I will definitely keep these trees.

My MicroStudio Game Feedback

Thank you all for the feedback! It is very useful. I can totally agree that the birds are blending in with the background and I should work on changing the colors around to make them more noticeable and easy to avoid. I also agree that the level of difficulty on the second level could be simplified since it is much harder than the first level. Overall length of the game could be increased too. I am very happy that my sprites design got a positive feedback since I put a lot of time into them. Overall very good feedback received and it will help me with my future games!

Blog Post #6

I want to make my game get progressively harder but still easy to beat for any player. The first few obstacles are introductionary and simple. I have a lot of fun working with the sprites and want my game to feel visually like something more relaxing rather than hard.

My Character Sprites

Hello! Here is my character, I love cats so I had to make one. I plan to make the game sweets themed, so I am going to use mostly pastel/sweets colors and the cat being purple makes the character really stand out.
