My Godot game is inspired by early first-person sandbox games, referencing titles like Redliner on Roblox and Superhot, where progression is achieved through fighting and collecting to stay alive. In this early stage, it was made with colored cubes. The level layouts will be mostly indoor, like stages, with somewhat platforming sections.

Here is my Micro Studio platforming game, Deadline. Collect the coins, hearts, attack & speed boost to help destroy and avoid the bots. There is one level; the first is left-to-right. I had a lot of fun working on the sprites for this project. My favorite sprite I made is the floating round bot I called “Breaker”.

microStudio2 Update

Here is the playthrough for my first level in my game, Dead Line. I ran into issues with my item Ui animation and giving the enemies’ movement and Ui animation when it comes to dying. In this clip, you barely see the ui death animation for the enemies and items.

My apologies for submitting this assignment late. I have other assignments that I’m behind on. This is an updated version of my game and its objectives, where you, as the main character, have to go back to the rooftop that X.E.L.T.A hit you off, but on your way are corrupted robots stopping you to try and defeat him once more.

Here’s my twine project update. I updated the code by fixing the formatting. At first, my photos didn’t even show up at all, then when organizing the code a bit later on, I got an Img icon, and then after that, my images were fixed. Here are some of my sketches I have planned.

For my project, the concept I’m going for is a demo platform-based game taking place in a cyberpunk dystopian city where robots and tech are out of control due to a company, K.E.L.T.A corp ( << I’m thinking of changing name later on) using them illegally in secret to gain control and money. It is our job as the main character to stop them and whatever new projects they throw out in the city. I want to make the demo to have the player entertain by it style and gameplay while making it fun to move around. For the intro I want it to start off the character from getting back up after a recent fight that can have a little explanation, then having the gameplay start off.
