MicroStudio – Midnightsnack (game)

This my character his name is Coal, based of my cat. He doesn’t have a tail in real life so I had to represent him accurately.

Everyone love’s a midnight snack, but Coal love’s it even more. He will go through high and low along with some deadly spiders and bats to get cookies. For now there aren’t that many cookies but I’m going to add more.

I also thought the harder is to get to the places there would be different kinds of cookies. The normal chocolate cookie is just one point, the red one is to get a life back, the silver one will give you a shield until you hit a enemy and the ultra rainbow looking cookies will give you a random power for 10s. Ex: flying with rainbow stripes, rainbow lazer eyes, super meow sound making your enemies stay frozen for 10s…For now those are the ones I thought would be the more fun ones. Oh and for the blue fish, I’m not sure what yet.

Twine 2 – Update

The game is called “What is the right choice?” (if you want to check it out)

Now that I have worked more on the idea, I have realized that adding images gives the game a slightly joking tone, while having no images creates a more serious atmosphere. However, I want to maintain a scary tone to keep players curious and fully engaged.

Twine 1

The game is called “What is the right choice?”

The concept of this game is simple: to create crazy or critical situations and see what choices people make. By the end of the game, there will be scenarios where players can share what they think about the game so I can further improve it. I believe that reviewing a game after playing it is helpful, but I thought It would be interesting to include that option within the game itself. This will allow me to continue developing it and explore the direction the game could take in the future.
