This games is supposed to be a short yet sweet platformer . from what I’ve seen, the player is unable to get past the start button. i thought i fixed this.

update on my goddot project i think i got it to work finally. it supposed to be a platformer.

for this week i redid my platforms. i added more textures and i included the main character.

I’ve been thinking on it for a while , and i think i wanna make my game a platformer or a collect things type game.

this is what i have so far, a small staircase. i might add a few more stairs though since this seems a bit easy. maybe add bigger gaps.

after posting my game, i didnt really get any feedback, but if i was to get any i think it would be about the enemies. theres only one in game and it doesn’t hurt you. if i was to fix anything it would be that and so much more. but i am very proud how the pixel art came out for it.

update: something went wrong

ok so the goal was to give a sense od unease with the monsters while every thing else is cute and stuff . but i cant due to an error

i dont know what happened. as i was editing the code it showed an image in the corner . but as i continued something happened and now i cant pick up my items i can see my life points nothing ..

i don’t wanna delete it but at this point i have no choice. its frustating because i put alot of effort into the game only for one miss imput to mess everything up

when i was making the design i wanted the character to be cute. so from my old art works i found an old unused character. i want the people playing to connect to my character. get attached.

this is what i got for now. however i do wanna try and fix the size of her so you can see the details.

based on the feedback i have gotten , my game is good. the instructions is clear and the animations was smooth only issue being the plush toy. this is because it does not look like a plush.

so as I continued working on my bitsy game, I added a few things. for one being locked rooms, in other to enter you need to interact with the world. I also added character interactions all though you cant see it unless you give the the item they wish for.

I wanted it to be you cant just avoid characters , you have to talk to them… otherwise it would feel.. well boring.

I’m making a bitsy game , I think I’m gonna make it about change , or at least , that’s what i want for now. when i have a proper design made fore the characters i think ill have the answer.
