The positive feedback for my game focuses on the color scheme and block design. The background and sound effects match the vibe well. The platforming is difficult enough to make getting the collectibles as a challenge.
However, player feedback suggests that I should adjust the enemy’s AI so it doesn’t get trapped in corners. Also, adding a proper model for it would be better to match the game. The collectible model seems too big or doesn’t look like a collectible, so I should adjust its design. Finally, players found it easier to jump into the void to restart rather than jumping back to the platform.
I added collectibles and enemies that chase the player in the game. There are five collectibles in the map. I also added animations for the collectibles, they will spin to show players they can be collected, and they shrink once touched.
In the feedback, players loved the game’s art style, especially in level two. The level two design was praised for platform placement. However, some players wished there were more obstacles.
Considering there were other players felt that level two was already difficult. I suggest adding a new level with new design to provide the additional challenge.
The player play as a red motorcycle, and they must avoid traps that bite you.
I want to make a story about a cycle traveling through different biomes. There are two levels so far, a plain and a moss biome. To reach the next level, they need to drive to the gas pump.
Here is my character. It is a motorcycle and I make the headlight blink when it jumps up or down. It squashes when it is in an idle state, and stretches when it jumps or falls.
I drew a background and some tiles for the game. I want to make the game about an adventure for a motorcycle exploring hills or different biomes.
Overall, most players praised the game’s art and stories. They found the stories unsettling and deep enough, which motivated them to find the secret ending just as I had hoped.
However, some players struggled with the visual indicators for their next steps. Also, some dialogue triggers were either too short or too long, which caused some players to stop interacting too early or click too many times just to trigger the next event.
Warning! The following content contains game spoilers! This is for those who want to continue playing despite my direction flaws!
At first, you must get the sword to continue the game. Then you can continue by following the path. The path is shaped like a flower.
Here are the directions to enter to the next rooms:
When you meet the cat, to continue, all you need to do is finish every conversation with the cat until it teleports you to the next room.
Once you have finished the conversation in your reading room, the color of the room will change and a door will open. You can exit and talk to the angel to finish the game.
— Again! Warning! The following content contains more game spoilers! This is for those who want to reach to the Secret Ending! To reach the Secret Ending, you don’t need to get the sword, but you need to go inside to your chest to get a gold.
Then you need to talk to the devil to exchange it for a potion. After that, you can go to the bed, it will teleport you to the next room. Both beds will work.
Here are the two puzzle rooms, and both use the same hint. For the room on the left picture, you just walk one step at a time.
For the room on the right picture, you shouldn’t move except for walking downward. Otherwise, you need to go to bed again. This time, walk all the way until you hit the wall each time.
Just straight up to talk to the boss.
After the teleportation, you are free to explore as much as you like, although only these three maps have content.
Once you are done exploring, you can talk to the boss or simply go to sleep to trigger the ending.
Thank you for playing and watching the post! I hope you all enjoy the game!
