My Gadot Game

I want to try and make something like a mini “It Steals” since I love games like that, but in a hedge maze. I need to add more rooms but my biggest problem is making the halls too close together and having them collide. I had to delete a few rooms that just crashed together in a bad way, but I’m understanding how to make it cohesive.

My Gadot Game

I want to make a game where you’re in a maze and it leads you to different rooms with short stories about them. I’m not too set on the idea of the story rooms because it seems a bit vague so far as to how I’m going to do it, but I really like the idea of a maze. Maybe a hedge maze since I like the idea of the player seeing the sky. If I added an enemy, it can be a bit like a 3D pacman kind of game.

Microstudio Game

My microstudio game is a recreation of the game that Finn and Jake play in Adventure time. It was pretty difficult since I kept having strange problems, but it was fun none the less

Micro Studio Character

Here’s my character Design. I made 8bit the human (Heavily inspired by Adventure Time). I did it’s Idle, walk and jump animations. Since this was from a particular episode of which he enters a game, I tried to follow an old game like with a green color palette. I want to come up with something a bit more original, but I was having a lot of fun testing with this!

Bitsy Game Update

An update to my bitsy game showing the 5 rooms it has! I wanted more interactables this time

My bitsy game

My bitsy game is about a hungry little shark going around trying to quell their appetite! When you reach the end, you’ve fulfilled your goal.

I had a lot of fun making the little sprites and the environment. I think the simple layout is great for getting people used to making games, no matter how small. I feel like you can do a lot with this program to try your hand at making assets and layouts.

Twine Project Update 2

I wanted to lay out the groundwork for the first part of the story where the main character can finally make some branching choices! I want to go back and add some more context to the scenes but for now, I like seeing where it’s going. The character can choose 2 different paths for the entire game with their own choices and options. I hope it’s not too complicated, but I’ll compact it if it gets to be too much.
