As I mentioned in my last post, I was inspired by the Moai statue due to its meaning and cultural significance, and the movie “Night at the Museum,” which featured the Moai Statue.
For my project, I was inspired to recreate the Moai statue after rewatching Night at the Museum, where the Moai statue had great humor, and I appreciated the art style of the statue. I decided to recreate it. The Moai statue is from Polynesian culture and is made to represent the ancestors watching over the descendants .
My website “Why Are Flowers Beautiful” Is about unique flowers that I find beautiful and are drawn personally too. for my project when I worked with css styles I made sure to use vibrant colors. since Flowers are very vibrant and unique. I also used the arial font so that It can be very readable. The flowers that I choose to talk about were the Lotus Flower and the Bird Of Paradise.
For this Final Animation Project I decided to base my story on the flows of a lava lamp. Instead of choosing the color orange for the circles I decided on making them blue. The process was mainly using keyframes to create the slow motion of lava and choosing the color blue to give it an illusion that It is not identical to a lava lamp. I chose to name this project “The Color Blue” to give it more of an Identity on Its own Instead of fully making them a lava orange type of color.
For my Audio project I used 5 sample sounds to create what a fairy would do typically every day In A forest. for this project I really wanted it to be natural as possible so I used a lot of fade in/ fade out key frames to make everything blend together seamlessly. my natural sounds were mimicking a fairy’s wings, her laughter, the wind when she Is flying, sparkle sound for a whimsical effect and her walking through the forest.
