For my 3D Model, I chose to mash up two sculptures, the Athens Bull Rhyton and the Chinese Tomb Guardian. When I was creating my piece, I realized there wasn’t a premade shape for horns. To solve this issue, I simply used the scribble tool and made the horns from scratch! It wasn’t too difficult and definitely is the best part of the model.
I’ve decided that I wanna model after animal like sculptures! I found these two very interesting and chose to do a mash up of these two images. The first image is the Athens Bull Sculpture and the second is the Chinese Tomb Guardian.
“The Gate calls you to make a choice. It speaks to you as if it knows your soul. Your choices affect the story like any game. Don’t be afraid to make different choices.” I basically decided to make my choose your own adventure have a horror theme. I wanted it to feel like it was talking to the person.
The Gate allows you to see into each section. As you venture deeper, you will see just how deep the rabbit hole goes. Take a breath and listen to your soul.
For my website, I wanted to have a bit more of an eerie start. I wanted it to feel like you stumbled across something. The website almost seems like its talking directly to you, the visitor.
The story of the bright, magical feline flame. First, we see the candle spark itself to life. Then, it flows and dances from shape to shape. As it becomes more comfortable it takes the form of a cat. Finally, it slowly goes back to its original, small shape.
For my animation, I wanted to create a moving flame that changes shape. I used a few tweens, but mostly animated frame by frame. My main focus was to make sure the flow of the flame was natural.
I wanted to create an audio that replicates the sounds that come from the forest, but added my own little twist. I wanted to make it feel magical and almost haunting. The sounds of humming and music makes you feel like it’s coming from a distance, but you see no one there. It is the forest itself that makes the music.

For my audio, I decided to add a woman humming. I felt like it adds another layer to the immersion. I’m still figuring out whether or not I should make it sound more distant like the piano.
