Audio Post – Nightlife (Edit)

For my edits to my original post, I added normalization on my voice recording, and the sounds of the bartender pouring drinks to take out some of the high peaks. For the background jazz music, I used the equalizer and changed the default to old radio type for a nostalgic, vintage feel. I also added a couple sounds, one of a champagne bottle being opened and poured. The other one was a glasses clinking that I had to speed up so it sounded more like a toast.

Audio Post 1-Nightlife

I made an audio file using Audition that combined the ambient noise of a crowded bar with the sounds of a bartender making drinks. I also added music and a short intro recording.

Image Project – Florida

Florida

Fall 2025

Adobe Photoshop

I used a golf course as the starting point for my image composition project. I then added an alligator onto the course, a sight that I found very common on many different courses in Florida. I edited the shadows for the alligator image to match the image of the golf course and added a blue gradient map to create a different color palette. For my text, I modified the font size and overlayed the pattern that I created. For my pattern I used a combination of ocean images, a turtle, a starfish, and a bay scallop shell to stick with the Floridian theme. One of the biggest challenges for my projected was adding the adjustments to the proper layers in the original composition and figuring how to group layers to apply the adjustments to the entire group instead of a single layer.

Composite Image

For my composite image, I added an alligator to a picture of the green on a golf course, a common sight in my hometown, St. Petersburg, Florida. I used the drop shadow and inner shadow effects to try and make the image more realistic.

Abstract Composition – Lake Night

For my abstract composition post, I made an image of a lake at night in the mountains because that’s where I spent Labor Day weekend. I layered different shapes to represent the mountains, moon, sky, water, and dock. I also used different gradients to represent the different shades and reflections of moonlight.
