Godot user feedback

The positive feedback for my game focuses on the color scheme and block design. The background and sound effects match the vibe well. The platforming is difficult enough to make getting the collectibles as a challenge.

However, player feedback suggests that I should adjust the enemy’s AI so it doesn’t get trapped in corners. Also, adding a proper model for it would be better to match the game.
The collectible model seems too big or doesn’t look like a collectible, so I should adjust its design.
Finally, players found it easier to jump into the void to restart rather than jumping back to the platform.

From the feedback I received, most people liked my environment design and found my story interesting. I adjusted the collision on the spiral staircase to make it harder to fall off. I also changed the enemy material to make them stand out more in the environment. Thanks everyone for the feedback!

Overall, the feedback I received was pretty positive. I think everyone understood the vibe I was going for. Looking back, though, I could’ve added more of a challenge. I also think I could’ve incorporated the items into the obstacles to make the experience more interactive and engaging. I really appreciate everyone’s feedback and thank you professor for a great semester!

MicroStudio (1) Character

It’s supposed to be an Angel. Either way it was fun to play around with it for a bit, more complicated than I expected.

Outerspace-adventure on itch.io

My microstudio game has 3 completed levels with ufos and aliens acting as enemies. When you reach the end, you’ll arrive at the spaceship that you’ve been collecting fuel for.

I hope you enjoy playing!

My Character Sprites

My game is about an astronaut collecting fuel to be able to activate their spaceship while avoiding aliens.

I posted my game Renegade on itch.io

The environment of the game is based on the feelings of a boy trying to run away from home. The different bosses and collectibles were designed around how life feels for him and his emotional state throughout the journey.

Godot User Feedback

Overall, the feedback on Renegade was very positive. People really liked the dark atmosphere, visuals, and sound design, saying they worked well together and created a strong mood. Some players found the collectible/enemy design a bit confusing at first, which made them think certain items were obstacles. A few also mentioned that the environment was very dark, which sometimes made it hard to see platforms or know where to go. Overall, the main feedback was that the game has a strong aesthetic and concept, but could improve readability and lighting for better gameplay clarity.

It’s very simple, but I like it for now. I really want to make it like some small horror game, or just adventure, still figuring which one of those too to choose.

I love my cat.
