This is the update of my first level in the game! While I’m having a bit of an easy time creating simple animations, I’m still having a really tough time grasping the scope of the game and I’m having a tough time understanding the code and it’s properties and how the code makes the game work. I’m gonna have to attend some office hours to learn about the code a little more.

Here is my character design! For my project I’m thinking of going with the route of a magic based environment for my game. Although there is no map or animations, My character sets the tone for how the game will be. I will continue to update with the map and with animations as we progress. I am also having a bit of a tough time adjusting to the coding mechanics of the game engine but I will learn.

The forest, if you fail to take in your surroundings, has different encounters and leads to brand new paths.

The forest goes through changes as each day passes, with new co-workers also struggling with the brand new obstacles.

The coal mining factory is a place filled with dangerous machinery and even worse, annoying co-workers.

A forest that is the first thing you see when you walk out of your cozy home.

Starting room of the game with a cozy bed ad cat to keep you company.

This is my first attempt at a bitsy game. The main goal is to collect as many images (sprites) of sentimental value as possible. The more items you collect the better the ending you get. The less items the worse the ending. Your cat and bed will track your progress.

In this post, I didn’t added any song just leave the old theme to my second level and included dialogue for some of the sprites. I hope you enjoy it!
