“Sky of Emotion”

For this project, I created a sky that goes through a range of emotions. It begins with a calm, peaceful sky, but then a problem occurs, and the scene shifts into rain. The rainfall continues until a resolution is reached, and the sky becomes happy again, shining brightly with a sense of relief and pride. Most of the elements, such as the clouds, raindrops, and sun, were built using basic oval shapes that I adjusted and reshaped to match what they were meant to represent.
The most challenging part of the process was designing the sun. There was probably a more efficient method, but the approach I took was very time-consuming and required a lot of small adjustments. Even so, I’m satisfied with the final result and how the overall animation moves through the emotion.
Storyboards:
Nice work, this looks great. I really like the final image with the sun behind the clouds, and the color choices for the background work well together. One thing I would adjust is the color of the rain drops, they are hard to see against the color of the background at the moment when they come in, I might make the rain drops lighter, or the background darker at that moment.
