Adobe Audition
For the Audio Project, I had an idea in mind of a person so absorbed into a video game that he doesn’t see the signs of a storm coming. I wanted the video game to sound classic like an 8-bit RPG type game. I recorded my voice to really make the story clear. My character is so invested in the game, that it takes his friend calling him to explain what’s happening outside. Although my character’s cat was aware of the storm brewing in the background. I tried to make the storm silent at first and then make it more noticeable once my character lowers the volume of the game to talk to is friend… right before the power goes out! Thankfully, it was nothing too serious and I wanted to end it on a light note instead of a full downer. All audio used was from Freesound.com except for my voice recording which used Adobe Audition:

This turned out really well, nice work. It seems like you had fun with this, but also did a great job with all of the little details, and a great title.
Thank you for the feedback Professor Roberts! I’ve always been interested in audio editing, sound effects and other voice related work. So I really appreciated learning more about all of it and using Adobe Audition.
