For my abstract composition post, I made an image of a lake at night in the mountains because that’s where I spent Labor Day weekend. I layered different shapes to represent the mountains, moon, sky, water, and dock. I also used different gradients to represent the different shades and reflections of moonlight.
This is a great composition, the color scheme is really nice balance of dark and light and the gray gradient effect on the mountains is really nice. One change I would make is removing the stroke (or black outline) from the rectangles that make up the dock, I think because the gradient makes it appear like other shapes do not have strokes, the stroke on the dock look unintentional and out of place in the design. Great work overall.
