For my first abstract composition, I enjoyed exploring the capabilities of different appearance properties for my basic and custom shapes. The stroke options allowed me to freely style the way my shapes appeared around the inner and outer edges.

Really interesting piece here. I like the black space and the use of color, which sticks out a lot in a good way. The repeating animal idea is very creative too; good idea.
You guys really love this tiger shape! Nice work, the layered pattern fill, gradient and noise texture are all interesting visual experiments. I like how you’re playing with the outline of the tiger shape but I think I would either have 4 different ones or 2 of each kind, or some other even combination, it seems off to have the middle two tigers with the dotted outline and then very different outlines on the outer two tigers.
