The backstory behind this game Im creating is sort of like a maze kind of game where you have to find ace and “save” her by getting her through the exits! My irl cat is a rescue so I thought itd be a cute omage

Sounds like a good premise. For the documentation images, I would just make a screen cap of the game window, you don’t need to include the entire editor interface.
