Hello everyone! For my abstract composition, I used the rectangle tool to create both day and night. I also used the eclipse tool to create both the sun and the moon and the clouds for the day half. For the night half I used the star tool and just added two stars. I went back and forth in deciding whether to make this composition completely day or completely night before deciding “Why not both?”

I like the night and day concept. I think the positioning makes it a bit confusing though, it reads like the top is the sky and the bottom is the ocean or land at first. I think I would organize it horizontally, or make a more clear contrast between colors. The balance of the composition could use some work, the bottom section is relatively evenly spaced, while the top has a big cluster on the right side that seems to outweigh everything else in the scene. The stars also seem out of proportion with the moon, if they are stars they should be far away, so they should be smaller. Great concept, I think it could use a bit more tweaking and balancing.
