Audio Project

Beach Town Boardwalk

Fall 2025

Adobe Audition

In this audio project, I decided to depict what a typical beach town boardwalk might sound like. I drew a lot of inspiration from my own experiences traveling through different states and hearing all the familiar yet unique sounds you’d find on a boardwalk, such as seagulls, waves, people talking and laughing, etc. I used five different audio samples and experimented with fading to make the audio feel like you’re actually walking through the boardwalk. I think the most challenging part of this project was making everything sound cohesive, rather than a random mash-up of audio clips. I was able to solve this by using tools such as spacing out the audio, using fades, and applying compression and EQ.
