I was trying to replicate the feeling of playing a fantasy RPG-like video game. Either 8-bit or a game trying to callback to that era of video games. The premise was the player interacting with a character in this world. I tried to replicate the audio of the text scroll that appears when you approach a character and they speak to you and found audio similar to some video games where the player hears said character mumbling while the dialogue of what they are saying is written in text. All the audio I found was from Freesound.com!

(I worked with The 8-bit footsteps but it is not in the MP3 here. It’s something I’m going back and forth on in terms of keeping it or not)
Nice work, I lol’d at the mumbling sample. This is a great start, I think it needs a two or three more samples to complete the narrative. And remember the final version has to be 1-3 minutes, so you may need to extend beyond the current music you have.
Thank you Professor Roberts!! I’m glad you liked it so far! Also glad the mumbling sample landed well! I got a kick out of it as well! I have been thinking about this and have found some inspiration and more of an idea of how to expand on this premise. Hope it turns out okay! Thank you for your feedback!
