The fallacy I chose is personal incredulity. This fallacy is when someone claims something isn’t true simply because they do not understand it. A good example of this is in a video between Professor Dave and a flat-earth enthusiast.
The entire video is an example of him not comprehending what is being explained to him, therefore, his response is to discredit it.

Hi Alex,
This is super interesting. I used to work with someone who wholeheartedly believed in conspiracy theories. It’s sad because even when they are presented with facts or proof from scientists etc. They will do everything in their power to back their illegitimate belief. The video you included was somewhat painful to watch but explains the fallacy perfectly.
