Gary Anderson defines critical thinking as something that’ll help us understand our place in this world and what we can do to improve it. He believes critical thinking is important because of how much influence it has on ones perception of the world. Also, how much influence it has on the decision we make, like how did we get to that conclusion. While Jesse Richardson Defines Critical Thinking as a “design that solves problems”. Jesse believes critical thinking is important because no one is teaching these kids how to think, instead they’re only being taught what to think. He also mentions that instead of just teaching them what’s right, we can have them “engage their own minds, their own awareness by questioning” these things. Both of these answers are great but Id lean more towards Jesse Richardson. Though I didn’t clearly understand his definition of critical thinking, I still liked his thoughts on the importance of critical thinking. I agree that schools should be teaching the youth also how to think, instead of just what’s right and what they should be thinking about. Most of youth nowadays is acquiring alot information too quickly through social media and what not, where ultimately it’s got them lost, trying to do what they were taught was right. To conclude, both of these answers are great but I really liked Jesse’s reasoning.

Hello.
I believe they are both right.
However, I liked Jesses’ reasoning more myself, as well.
Critical thinking is a process. It is a valuable skill that is supposed to help people make knowledgeable decisions, solve issues, and reach rational conclusions.
It is not limited to any particular field or subject matter; it is a transferable skill that can be applied to various aspects of life and everyday decision-making and can lead to more informed and reasoned choices, better problem-solving abilities, and a deeper understanding of complex issues.
It is an essential skill for anyone seeking to navigate complex concerns in this “too much information-rich” world.
Well said/written!
I agree with you you said “critical thinking as something that’ll help us understand our place in this world and what we can do to improve it”. Also Meegan’s view on critical thinking. I believe that critical thinking is something that can always be improved on.Critical thinking can help us get into anyone’s mine and analyze information
