Musical Forest Edit

For my audio, I decided to add a woman humming. I felt like it adds another layer to the immersion. I’m still figuring out whether or not I should make it sound more distant like the piano.

The sounds I used:

Freesound – forest summer breeze NL 134PM 210712_030.wav by klankbeeld

Freesound – walking in the grass.wav by kwahmah_02

Freesound – The song of birds and crickets (Gran Sabana, Venezuela) by felix.blume

Freesound – female humming.wav by drotzruhn

Audio 1

For this project, I really enjoyed exploring how to combine different audio elements to create a final piece. It was a bit challenging at first to get everything to sound right, but I’m proud of how it turned out. I’m looking forward to getting feedback on it!

Audio Draft 1

For my audio draft, I decided to create a light campfire ambiance with calm background music. Toward the end, the sound of wood being chopped builds up to a tree falling.

Musical Forest Draft

For my project, I wanted to use more nature ambience and replicate a forest. You can hear the music in the background. It took so much time to record the piano since it was my sister who was playing live. I definitely want to add more sounds later in the track.
