For this project, I really enjoyed exploring how to combine different audio elements to create a final piece. It was a bit challenging at first to get everything to sound right, but I’m proud of how it turned out. I’m looking forward to getting feedback on it!

This is a great start, I like the dramatic intro, and the blending of the waves background sounds with the music is nice. The mix has a lot of the one track “9ka and chaika”, to the extent that it feels more the piece is about the song with a couple of sound effects added. Using background music is good, but it shouldn’t be the focus of the piece. Think about a specific place or narrative and how you can add other sound sources to bring out the idea.
