Hello, my name Rukhshona Jabborova; I have been living in NY for more than five years now. Music is my passion, and this is the main reason why I’m majoring in music at BMCC. I also love engaging and learning more about political leadership. I believe this class will create an opportunity for learning more about political processes and outcomes, especially the leadership qualities adopted by the current leaders in our country.
I’m looking forward to meeting you all.
Carmen Sala’s Intro
Hello, I’m Carmen Salas and I’m originally from Venezuela. I’ve been living in NY for almost 4 years now, and I’m currently majoring in music at BMCC. This is my second year. I’m a singer, and even though it is too obvious to say that my biggest passion is music, it is! However, I also enjoy politics, history and leadership and that is why I decided to take this class. I plan to graduate after this year’s fall semester and then I’ll be transferring to a senior college, but I haven’t decided on which one yet! I’m looking forward to meet you all!

Gladys Tavera- Discussion B.
Hello everyone, my name is Gladys. My major at BMCC is criminal justice, and I’m in my second year. One of the things I enjoy about being a criminal justice student is the opportunity to learn about various laws in the United States. In the spring of 2022, I plan to complete my associate’s degree and then transfer to John Jay to complete my bachelor’s degree. Gym and listening to music are two of my favorite things to do.
Sianna Velez
Hi! I’m Sianna Velez and my major is Biotechnology. I hope to get my A.S. in Biotechnology and hopefully get into NYU so I can get my Bachelor’s degree in Biology. I’m 19 years old and I like to dabble in a bunch of different hobbies like arts and crafts, music, makeup, fashion, gaming, etc because I can’t stick to one hobby. I chose my major because I have many ideas of what I want to do in the future, and my major would let me explore all of those options. Some career paths I’m interested in are forensic scientist, zoologist, lab technician, and science teacher/professor.

Morgan Taylor introduction
Hi all! My name is Morgan. I currently work in video production, but am back in school to make a career change to Social Work. I hope to get my A.S in Human Services at BMCC, then my BSW (Bachelor’s of Social Work) and my masters in the same. I am still exploring my micro/mezzo/macro interests, and hope to use my time at BMCC to explore and narrow down a focus, but I am currently very interested in the emerging field of complex trauma.
In my free time, I like singing, theater, hiking, and going down rabbit holes of research. I also love exploring different parks in and outside of the city with my dog, Avery. Prospect Park will always have a special place in my heart, but open to suggestions of others we should visit!

Hi there everyone, my name is Jennifer Salomon I’m a part-time student at Bmcc, majoring in Early Childhood Education. I chose ECE as my major because my first job was at Daycare center and I really loved working with the children so much so that I wanted to continue with it, so I decided to go back to school and get my license in ECE. I’ve been working with children for about 16 yrs now( 12 at the Daycare center and 4 as of now at a public school)
I enjoy going to amusement parks ..for the rides of course, the higher, the better and I love watching my stories. My Goals after leaving Bmcc is to continue to work for the Department of Education for a few year and open a Daycare Center with a Pre-k program.
