Kar Rosen – Lab Manager
Kar is a the Lab Manager in the Makerspace. They oversee the day to day operations of the space and operate some of the machine for student use. Kar has been a freelance designer, illustrator, and storyboard artist with experience in digital fabrication, accessibility, user experience design, prop building and many other skills. Their favorite machine in the space is the laser cutter and is often experimenting with it.

Anna Pinkas – Makerspace Director
Anna Pinkas is a Professor in the Media Arts & Technology department. She oversees the staff and management of the Makerspace and is the advisor for the Makerspace Club. She loves using the laser cutter to make art… and to make silly Halloween costumes and decorations. Email: apinkas@bmcc.cuny.edu
