Activity #2: REVIEW Best Practices for Working with Families Who Have Infants Final Project
Review the Best Practices for Working with Families Who Have Infants Project. The project is due Week 16. Bring your questions to our learning community session.
At the end of the semester, you will share what you have learned with colleagues in the field. Review your weekly posts for key themes and important elements for working with families who have infants. You can identify how you would like to share what you have learned with other infant teachers – you can write a letter, create a presentation using Google Slides/ PowerPoint, produce a graphic, craft a song, develop a poem, or use another medium to share what you have learned.
Follow the steps below to create your Best Practices for Working with Families Who Have Infants Final Project:
- Review your Best Practices for Working with Families Who Have Infants Posts from each module.
- Make a list of the best practices you identify in each module.
- Reflect on how the best practices you identified connect to each other? How would you label/ title the themes that are related (e.g. communication, relationships, etc.)?
- Determine how you will share your best practice with other teachers you. Will you write a letter, create a presentation using Google Slides/PowerPoint, produce a graphic, craft a song, develop a poem, or use another medium to share what you have learned?
- Include practical details and steps that infant teachers working with families can use.
