MES 160 WEEK8

Summary

After WWII the world could be divided (broadly) into two worldviews: that of the Western (capitalist) and Eastern (communist). The differences between them were expressed through cartoon animation as well as through advertising and even through entertainment films, cinema, and documentary films. Some of the thematic, esthetic, and financial difference between western and Eastern was that one was failing and they other was booming in the industrial productions. They all had different perspectives. Western focuses on folk tales while Eastern focus the ciema movie. They both focused on either being explicit or implicated type of propaganda.
