This website is a story choice game about someone trying to shake off a serious case of boredom. Nothing seems to help until they start exploring the weirdest, most unexpected ways to entertain themselves. What starts with a simple decision quickly turns into a wild ride through totally different storylines. One moment you’re opening the fridge, the next you’re in space or battling microwave fleets. Every choice leads somewhere new, strange, or surprisingly funny. It’s all about escaping boredom… no matter how ridiculous the path might be.

Audio with effects

This is the updated version of my project with effects. I used echo, reverb, and fading to make the city noises even more realistic and enhance the overall atmosphere. These effects help create a more immersive experience, making the sounds feel more natural and dynamic.

For this project, I used a couple of images I found online a cool paint splash background and a retro style side profile. I added some gradients and made color adjustments to help everything match better. I also created a custom skull pattern to give it a more unique and personal look.

Project Title:

A Day of Epic Boredom

Story summary

It’s a dull, lazy afternoon. You’re home alone, with no plans and no energy to do much. Bored out of your mind, you decide to do something, anything to escape the crushing monotony. But as you try to entertain yourself, strange things start to happen.

I will use images, and animations to portray this story.

Style

This will be a choice based website. Where your decisions move the story forward and decide the final outcome of the character.

Choose Your Fate

Created with HTML, CSS and GitHub.

I chose to create a choice riddle where the reader must choose between three different doors. The challenge lies in figuring out which door leads to safety and which to doom, each determining their fate. One choice could save them another could seal their doom.

i added a CSS stylesheet, and added a cool new style to my website, i chose the color pink, added a red border, chose a couple new fonts and centered everything.

My final audio project

Bustling city.

I used audio mixing, fading in and out, a notch filter, and reverb to enhance the realistic feeling of being in a crowded city street. The music in the background represents what the person or character is hearing through their headphones, immersing us even more into the world.

Storyboard Frustration

I decided to create an animation about frustration. Where a person realizes he’s being fired and expresses his frustration over the new information. The moment he smashes the his hands into his knees and it cuts out with a flash effect, really symbolizes the magnitude of his emotion, and I thought the color red really conveys this emotion well.
