MMP 100 Final project creative brief

Giuliana Bravo

A very short happy true story.

Story summary

This is the story of a little girl from Peru who grew up with very little. She spent her days in nature, where she felt safe and free to dream. Her biggest dream wasn’t about money or possessions, it was to have a family, a home full of love.

As she grew up, life remained hard. Her partner left, and she was left to raise her child alone. But through it all, she found happiness, not in what she had, but in love, resilience, and the small, beautiful moments that made life worth living.

Media

I will use three images: two created specifically for this story, and a third one previously made in class, used as a reflective closing piece.

Audio (Audacity):

I will create two audio tracks: they will use voice narration of the story and background music to accompany the visuals.

Style

The style will be reflective, hopeful, and minimal.
The visual palette will include soft tones: light pink and green, sky blue, lavender and peach. The goal is to evoke warmth, peace, and quiet strength.

Software

Photoshop – for creating original images

Audacity – to record and mix narration with background music

GitHub Pages – to publish the final website

Creative Brief- City Tour Final

Imani Arias

City Tour

Story summary

My story begins with me visiting a childhood friend of mine (Sam the black caterpillar) in her NYC apartment. Being so amazed at the size and proximity to nature, I asked Sam to show me around NYC through her eyes. We went on a tour around the city, and in the end, I thank her. Along the way I got Sam to record fun city facts.

Media

The media I will use in my story will involve the images of Sam (the caterpillar) and I going around NYC. Included, I will use audio of Sam recording facts for the viewer.

Style

The style of my site will be simple, and I will tell the audience of my time, and they will follow along with me.

Software

I will be using GitHub, Sublime Text, Adobe Photoshop, and Audacity for my website.

Life beyond the fantasy

Story summary

You’re in a fantasy world where you choose to be either a witch or a vampire, from there you will choose various attributes about your character. This will be an interactive story telling path that will take you to a final webpage. After finishing the choose your story, you will be given another choice for a bonus question.

Media

I will be utilizing the web to find various animations and pictures that will help me bring my vision to life by illustrating the choices.

Style

I will be using mostly dark colors for this project; I wanted to lean into the more mysterious/spooky theme since we are talking about a fantasy world.

Software

I used Sublime, GitHub, Wikimedia & DeviantArt. I will try to stick to these resources when creating my website but will include any other resources used after my project is finished.

Cat life: Clawed v.s. Declawed

Story Summary – My story start you being a cat and you will choose to be clawed or declawed. Once chosen there will be a series of events the will happen in your life depending on this. In the end, the goal is to advocate for cats that being declawed is wrong and significantly changes their lives.

Media – I will be using images of cats and animations of life events, such as getting outside, climbing trees, getting into fights, using the litter, etc. You will see the difference from being clawed or declawed.

Style – The style will be cartoon, abstract, and quick drawings to give a sense of the overall scene. There will be colors to reflect the emotions in the scene. I’ll use classic fonts and lean towards a children’s book design to show a simple yet easy to understand and direct message.

Software – I will be using Adobe Photoshop for images and Animate for animations and gifs.

HTML, CSS and Github to publish the website.

Final Creative Project Proposal | Comic Website

Proposal: A Website for my Pokémon Comic

I would like to create a webpage that displays the comic I’ve created by using an iPad drawing program called Procreate! The story of the comic just follows a common Pokémon story with a twist. I will create a small animation of the characters to put on the website also.

Applications that I will use:

After Effects for some Typography and the logo of the website/comic

Procreate used for the comic

HTML, CSS and GitHub for the creation of the website

Project Title:
The Journey of a Paper Boat

Story Summary

This is a gentle, visual story that follows a tiny paper boat on its peaceful trip down a stream. It begins with a child folding the boat and setting it into the water. From there, we follow the boat as it drifts along, passing flowers, insects, and rocks — quietly taking in the beauty of the natural world. In the end, the boat slowly unravels and sinks, returning to the earth. The story reflects themes of curiosity, letting go, and the quiet magic of nature.

  • Beginning: A child carefully folds a paper boat and sends it off into the stream.
  • Middle: The boat floats along, meeting bits of nature along the way.
  • End: Eventually, the boat begins to fall apart and sinks gently into the water, becoming part of the world around it.

Media

Images (3 total):

  • A soft background illustration of a river scene (created in Photoshop)
  • A paper boat shown in three different moments (drawn by hand and saved as PNGs)

Audio (1 total):

  • A 30-second calming soundscape made in Audacity — includes water, birdsong, and a little breeze

Text:

  • Short, simple lines of narration to guide the viewer through each scene

Style & Feel

This project is inspired by the mood of children’s books and gentle animated films like The Wind Rises or Ernest & Celestine — quiet stories that stay with us long after they end.

Made With

  • Photoshop for drawing the images
  • Audacity for mixing the audio
  • VS Code for building the webpage with simple HTML and CSS
  • Hosted on GitHub Pages

Media

I am looking to use images and gif animations found on the internet for the emojis.

7 Emoji images.

1 gif that matches that expresses each emoji.

Style

I plan to use different colors that represent the emojis and that match the background and font in contrast. There will be a different page that follows with what emotion is chosen throughout the story.

The Portal of Memories

Story summary

After a rough day you fall into a deep sleep, where you wander into a dreamlike time “HQ” where you can see past memories and visit them again first hand. Each portal you see allows you to visit a different memory. You wonder which memories you should visit.

Media

This will use a combination of audio and images to create the landscape for each memory.

Style

I intend for the website to have a dreamlike feel, using handwritten style fonts and soft edges to encapsulate the world you see to explore each memory.

Software

I will use Photoshop, Audacity, HTML/CSS, and GitHub.
