This website is a story choice game about someone trying to shake off a serious case of boredom. Nothing seems to help until they start exploring the weirdest, most unexpected ways to entertain themselves. What starts with a simple decision quickly turns into a wild ride through totally different storylines. One moment you’re opening the fridge, the next you’re in space or battling microwave fleets. Every choice leads somewhere new, strange, or surprisingly funny. It’s all about escaping boredom… no matter how ridiculous the path might be.
I created this website to raise awareness for declawing cats. I allow the person to put themselves in cats’ shoes to see how they would want to live life. Declawing is something I am passionately against and think it should be banned! In my website, after you choose, there is a scenario where the cat got out and a dog chases it. In the clawed version the cat can easily climb the tree to safety. In the declawed version the cat cannot. This is just one example of what can happen to a cat if you take away its claws. Hopefully this little website will bring awareness to this situation!

For this final project, I chose to tell a simple but meaningful story, inspired by an image I had created in a previous class. I used my own drawings to keep the piece personal and selected a soft pastel color palette to bring tenderness and warmth to the narrative. The background music includes excerpts from a personal composition that incorporates elements of Peruvian music, helping to reflect the cultural identity and emotional depth of the story. I hope that those who experience this piece feel a bit more hopeful, and are reminded that happiness can exist even in difficult times. The most challenging part was recording the narration, as my environment isn’t very quiet, so I decided to use an AI-generated voice to tell the story. I also had some difficulty finding a background image with a Creative Commons license, but eventually found one and edited it using color balance, curves, and other adjustments to match the tone of each drawing.

This story is about me exploring the world of NYC through the eyes of one of its most popular communities: Bugs! I got the idea after talking to my childhood friend (Sam the caterpillar). I chose my mediums because I wanted the audience to experience the journey too. So I included Photoshop and Audacity to create a visual and audio experience, like a museum. The background helps keep focus on the text, visual and audio with how neutral it is. It was quite challenging for me to do the embedding portion as I would keep getting my files mixed up because there was more to keep track of. In the end, I learned more about embedding code and more about the city through the eyes of a bug!
My website is intended to tell the following story: “After a long, exhausting day, you’ve drifted into a deep sleep. You awaken in a soft, glowing space—somewhere between time and memory. In front of you are shimmering portals. Each one leads to a moment from your past.” Using audio, images, soft fonts and edges, I encapsulated this landscape to the best of my ability, hoping to make each page as immersive as possible. *Enable audio playback in your browser, then refresh for the best experience!!!*
The story follows Luna, a curious character living in a vibrant, green forest. In the beginning, Luna explores her peaceful envionment, filled with nature and soothing sounds. As the story progreses, the atmosphere slowly darkens trees vanish, smog appears, and Luna finds herself in a noisy, polluted city.
This is the first comic I’ve ever made! I’ve decided to make it about my favorite Pokémon and tries to create my own world around them. I chose just pictures throughout the website since all of my panels are pngs. There are no specific colors other than the website’s colors to make the comic pop out at you. I envision the public encountering with my comic as a little fun thing to read through for a few minutes! The most challenging part about this project was doing 8 pages of panels but also how to figure out how to get the background striped haha! I enjoyed the challenge and learning new ways to interact with media.
for my final image project, I chose the streets of Harlem and a mourning dove that nests on my fire escape and photoshopped them together to make an image that looks like an album cover.
