tu quoque
Definition: When you highlight someone else’s mistakes, their response is pointing out your own flaws in an attempt to deflect the criticism.
Example: When my friend and I were arguing, I felt betrayed by something she did that I thought was wrong. In response to my accusation, she invoked ‘tu quoque’ by pointing out that I had also done things that made her sad. ‘Tu quoque’ often occurs in arguments.

I like the type of fallacy you decided to use, especially that this fallacy is kind of a really common one. There are many instances iv’e seen where someone is corrected by their wrong doings, and in return they try to say “well you did this” “you did that”, in use to try and deviate from them being the bad guy in that moment, and trying to make the person correcting them, the bad guy instead.
