Haku in Guatemala

I composite together a real place with an animation and some birds. The animation being from one of my favorite movies name Spirited Away and the background being a volcano from where my parents are from which is Guatemala. I added the birds on the right because it felt right to add them.

Spring Feels

The Composite image I made is of one of my favorite singers, Im Nayeon, from my favorite girl group Twice. Since Spring is kind of right around the corner I decided to make something that reminds me of Spring so I got a grassy but flower-ish background and added some bunnies because bunnies do remind me of Spring. As for the tools I use, I used the gradient tool even though it does not really show that much because of the filter I used. I also used drop shadow to make it seem like she’s actually laying there.

Dance moves on fire

I composited together an image of a ferret in a dance circle in a forest rave. I saw that the ferret was having fun and knew he would have been in the center of a dance circle. His dance moves are so great he is literally on fire and everyone is so in shock that all they can do is stand by and admire. This is the vibes I feel during forest raves.

My composition

This is my composition that I created in Photoshop which I am new to. I chose to use the shape tool and the paint brush to make a black cat with green eyes in the night with the moon and the stars.

Guardians of the Andes

This composition honors the hardworking and resilient Andean woman of Peru. It depicts a mother and daughter with the llama, the legendary animal that provides both companionship and wool for their community’s textile art. In the background, Machu Picchu rises beneath a starry sky, where day and night merge, reflecting the difficult yet glorious past of the Inca Empire. The tones of purple and blue evoke wisdom and nostalgia, symbolizing the deep, timeless bond between the people, the land, and their enduring legacy.

My Composite Image

I composited together a few of my favorite places or things: the beach, a camel, and a surfboard. I enjoy black and white photos, they give off a nostalgic feel, so I incorporated that into my overall photo. It has been a dream of mine to ride a camel on the beach so I added that as well near the water. With the sun hitting in the beach from the right, I incorporated a slight shadow to mimic the lighting.

Composite

I present to you, a Mandalorian manning the cannons as my composite. I adjusted the levels a little. Though mainly worked with a gradient mask to turn it black and white and a photo filter combined with some noise and a spherical gradient overlay to really try and capture that grungy old crappy camera vibe.

For my images I used this cosplay photo: Costume_Pageant_Mandalorian_at_Star_Wars_Celebration_IV.jpg (533×800)

And for the background this photo of Cape Coast in Ghana: Cape_Coast_Castle_in_Ghana_9.jpg (5184×3456)

Bjork Project

For this project I used various pictures of an artist named “Bjork” by first putting hue/saturation filters in tandem with a gradient map with a hue overlay setting on top of it. Some other effects I used were Outer/Inner Glow, Drop Shadow, Brightness/Lightness and Satin. I utilized the brush tool to add some dotted details like in the hair or around her. I enjoyed experimenting with the colors and the leveling tool as well.
