For this draft, I am animating the emotion of “joy”. The sky and sunshine brings me joy, so I am using a blue background and practicing on clouds and birds that add to that emotion I feel when looking up at the sky.

My Animated Gif

I animated what I believe to be is the sun waking up and rising, then setting. I used 25 frames and added different facial expressions to represent the time of day.

Edited with Audacity
I used audacity to edit an episode of my podcast. I used noise gate and levels to adjust the sound of my voice. For the music portion, I applied a fade out for a smoother transition into my voice. I clipped tracks to edit out awkward pauses and pasted new clips together into one.

Audio Update with Effects
I added a noise gate along for my voice and cut out the awkward pauses. Also, I added a fade out for my intro music.
Explore the Unexplored

“Explore the Unexplored”
Spring 2025
Made with Photoshop
Because I am a Pisces, I am often inspired by the ocean. I added an image of a turtle, one of my favorite sea animals, to my under the ocean background. For my font, I created a pattern of waves crashing to demonstrate what occurs above sea. I kept the gradient natural, but I used levels to adjust the brightness of the turtle and the sea.

Because I am a Pisces, I am often inspired by the ocean. I added an image of Ariel to my under the ocean background. For my font, I created a pattern of waves crashing to demonstrate what occurs above sea. I kept the gradient natural, but I used levels to adjust the brightness of Ariel and the sea.

My Composite Image

I composited together a few of my favorite places or things: the beach, a camel, and a surfboard. I enjoy black and white photos, they give off a nostalgic feel, so I incorporated that into my overall photo. It has been a dream of mine to ride a camel on the beach so I added that as well near the water. With the sun hitting in the beach from the right, I incorporated a slight shadow to mimic the lighting.

My Composition

I created this composition in Photoshop and is also my first time using this application. As I created this image, I was inspired by the color wheel and the shaping tool. In my eyes, the shape represents a modern flower, each large square representing a petal.
