As promised, here are instructions (originally from Tom) for the highly-requested sidebar menu widget to create weekly “folders,” like Celeste’s Eng 201 site:
- Dashboard > appearance > menus > edit menu > create a new menu > name it “Sidebar Menu” > create menu
- Widgets > navigation menu > right (or main, depending on theme) sidebar > select the “Sidebar Menu” that you created > type a title (e.g., “Weekly Lessons”) save
- Pages > add new > publish a page for each item you want in the sidebar menu
- Appearance > menu > add the pages to that menu > save
