Godot Project

This is my game made in Godot. I tried to create a relaxing level exploration game, using both my own assets and downloaded ones to create the worlds. I would like to continue learning how to use Godot for future personal projects.

Sadly, I couldn’t add my avatar to the final game because the mesh doesn’t recognize my FBX file, but at least I can show a picture here, hehe.

Godot 3

This is my progress on my Godot project so far. This will be my level 2, which I’m currently working on. It will be a cave that you can access by going behind the house in level 1. I still need to add more things, but this will be the base for this level.

Godot 2

This is my current level in Godot. For now, I’ve replaced the house I previously placed with this cabin, and I’ve modified the material colors to make it look much better than the previous one. I also added more trees to create a mini-forest and three huge stones around the edges that serve as the map’s border. Finally, I added the textures of the clothing, body, and accessories to my avatar.

Godot 1

This is my first scene in Godot. I mainly wanted to test how the menus and tools work, how to modify materials, add textures, and modify objects. Here I’m using assets I’ve used in personal projects and one of the avatars I modify in Unity, just to play around with the program. I have experience with Unity and a little with Blender, so it doesn’t seem too complicated.

GameMaker Final Ver.

After reviewing the feedback, I saw that the game’s biggest problem was the lack of a respawn mechanic after falling. I was also advised to swap the walk animation for the jump animation and to have the game restart after reaching the end. I’ve already worked on all three things and implemented the necessary scripts and adjustments. As you can see in the video, everything seems to be working well, and overall, I feel the game feels much better.

Thank you all for your feedback!

Gamemaker 3

So far, my game has three levels with working checkpoints and decorations that match the game’s theme. My game is about an alien who has to escape a spaceship that is about to self-destruct. To escape, this alien must overcome several parkour levels made up of incomplete platforms from the ship.

I’m still planning to add more things to the game, like enemies and more obstacles.

GameMaker 2

Here is my level so far:

I added the scripts for the characterand also a background that I’ll use for the world. I want this level to be the corridor area of the ship where my character is trying to escape. I’m still looking for sprites online that might be useful for my game.

GameMaker 1

This is the character design for my game. The game will be about an alien trying to escape from a spaceship that is about to be destroyed. I still plan to improve the animations and maybe change the jump animation.

Bitsy Game

Thank you all for your comments.

Some of the comments that I got said that there was a portal which was blocked after getting the crown at the end of the game, and was not letting them go back to certain rooms.

I just fixed the problem with one of the exits which was locked , and I also added signals on the sides of each portal.

Blitsy 2

This is my progress in my Bitsy game. I’ve added two extra rooms. The first is a maze in which a key is hidden to unlock the door to the second room, which is the crown room. The crown room doesn’t have much else inside. The cat greets you again to congratulate you and inform you of your reward: becoming king of the ocean.
