My Twine game is titled “Je suis en retard,” which means “I’m late” in French. The game centers on the high-stakes, real-life scenario of being late for school.

The core mission is to catch up with the school lectures, as your grades depend on it. To achieve this, you face a critical, binary choice:

1. Go to school, despite being late.
2. Call it a day, stay home, and study on your own to cover the missed lectures.

Regardless of whether you go to school or stay home, the ultimate goal is the same—to complete your mission and get caught up. This interactive story is based on the everyday scenarios we are all somehow facing.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t upload my game to the Twine Jam because I was absent during the deadline period, but I have successfully published it on itch.io.

This is my Twine Game Final

This is the starting point of the game.

This is one of the options that I used my own image in order to make it more relevant to my game. The real time on the screenshot did not really match the timeline in my game but my concept is the train schedule to school from the starting point.

This is the point where you get to the school.

This one is for the option you decided to make breakfast despite being late which is similar to the concept that we usually procrastinate sometimes despite knowing we are late for something.

This is the option you choosing not to go to school and call it a day.

There will be an option to give up on your mission but it is not going to be a real option. Even though you decide to give up on your mission, you will have to restart the game and go back to the starting point as it is a real life based game and your grades will be depending on your mission which is to understand the lectures you have missed at the end of the day. And in this option, I used a meme in order to make it more fun.

This is the option of studying on your own. But you will have some difficulties in studying on your own and you will have to ask for help from your friend or your professor. In this one, I made up an image on my own to make it more relevant to my game.

This will be the final level where you understand everything you have missed and complete your mission.

Hello my bitsy game project is about finding crystals in the space. There is a robot as a sprite, some UFOs, some black holes and some aliens as well. the purpose of the game is to find the crystals and talk with the robots and aliens.

Hello! This is my twine story and it is about you getting late for school and missing some lectures. Your goal is to catch up with the lectures no matter what. In the story, it started with you getting up late and late for school. And the steps are you getting ready for school and going to school and so on. And you are gonna be late for school no matter what and also have to try to find a way to catch up with the lessons you have missed. In this game whether you’re late or not, your goal is to catch up with the lessons, so you have to find a way to catch up with the lectures you’ve missed at the end of the day.
