my first audio edit
For my audio assignment I chose to give a brief intro to what MMA is. I describe the basics of MMA and what its comprised of.
Audio Project: Jazz Bar

For my project I wanted to depict a Jazz bar, I picked this setting because the noisy ambience was the first thing that came to mind, and Jazz bars are a staple of New York. I used Logic Pro X by Apple to edit this since I already have it. I used five different audios, and added a slight echo effect to the Jazz music to make it seem like it was playing in a large room. I used two different tracks of people talking and blended them together by adjusting the EQ. I also used two different foley effects of glasses clinking and pouring to add to the setting sporadically throughout the track.

Gossip Café | First Audio Edit
This is my first audio project using Audacity! I just made up some random skit, I voice acted couple of annoying girls interacting and walking around the street and into a café. I enjoyed making this a lot and going through the different free sounds!

Audacity
I decided to capture a day spent locked away in my room composing. I wanted to highlight the little things I usually try to avoid while recording—like the city noise, the squeaky chair, the clicking of mouse and keyboard, the metronome ticking, and the brush of the microphone. It starts with the sound of the guitar being tuned and a door closing, marking the moment I shut myself off from the world. Then, you’ll hear the sound of a pencil on paper, the way I prefer to write lyrics. The song playing is a draft of one of my own, which I’ve chopped up to mimic the process of adding and removing effects as I edit the demo. Welcome to my favorite place in the world!

My audio first edit
This is my audio project so far. I did the whole thing by accident but oh well. I am making a scene of someone in the forest starting a fire after the rain cleared. I used some background music and bird, rain, fire starting, and owl sound effects.

My first audio creation
I decided to create a news episode for my project this week, I got inspiration from my favorite childhood movie called “cloudy with a chance of meatballs”. I actually used part of the original script and put my twist on it, the voice audio is my original creation, I voiced the host and weather man. I also overlapped my voice with a breaking news voice to add more depth to the intro, and I used sound effects from Freesound.org to bring this idea to life.

This is my first audio project, I tried to do something like hyper-pop but it does not really sound like that so instead I just went for a more overwhelming type of sound that is known as “noise music.”
