In Segment E, we will focus on two units of study: Unit 9: Business Ownership & Unit 10: Introduction to Management

In Unit 9: Business Ownership we will explore the different ways businesses can form as legal entities and various types of business ownership (sole proprietorship, partnership, etc.) and how these formation decisions impact the future of a business.

In Unit 10: Introduction to Management we will explore the primary functions, responsibilities, and skills of effective leadership and management. We will learn about the three levels of management — top, middle, and first-line — and discuss the technical, interpersonal, and conceptual skills managers need to be effective.
