Start to question yourself.

For me the teaching process is raising subjectivity to objectivity through the process of self-examination and self-reflection. I would like to see my work as an invitation for students to become self-determined actors who not just blindly repeat meaningless slogans, abondance of which in our society is overwhelming and dangerous, but know what they want, why they want and how their positing of their wants affects others. The most difficult and delicate moment in my dialogues with students is to make them realize the urgency and expediency of self-questioning and self-doubt. Too many ‘good-intentioned’ slogans muddle clarity of one’s own perceptions and identity. I see my job as teacher in making students realize the groundlessness of handed down foundation. This realization can open the possibility for developing a self-determined personality.
