for the scavenger hunt project so far i am almost building my scene i have started adding collectible items to the scene. soon I will add an exit to this scene to complete the game

My Scavenger hunt concept

For my scavenger hunt concept, I am going to focus on building a parkour course where the player collects different types of items while jumping over blocks to reach the next platform. The player will collect coins and diamonds throughout the level. I also plan to create another level that leads to the end of the game. My idea was inspired by a Roblox game I used to play when I was younger.

USER TESTING 2

Out of the five players, four said they found bugs and one said they did not, meaning most players had issues. The main problems were with collision, like falling through the ground or getting stuck and not being able to move forward. Some trees also had no texture, and the player did not respawn after falling. Most players (4 out of 5) played for less than a minute, while only one played for five minutes, showing the bugs affected gameplay a lot. All players who rated the game gave it a 1 out of 5, meaning it was very easy. Players also said the lighting was too bright and suggested lowering it. They recommended adding more decoration, fixing the ground tiles, and making the trees look more natural instead of in a grid. On the positive side, players liked the background music and said it fit the game well. Overall, the game has a good idea, but it needs fixes to bugs, lighting, and design, and next time I would like to improve my scene by reducing bugs and making the game run more smoothly.

For my garden project, I have decided to change my concept. Instead of making a chill garden, I will now create a forest design. This idea came to me during class when we downloaded a tree model from TurboSquid. I liked how the tree looked, and it helped me imagine a full forest environment.

Right now, my project is still in the early stage. The trees are just a basic sketch of how I want them to be placed. Later, I will use Blender to properly arrange and adjust the trees so they look more natural and realistic in the space.

I have also changed the ground design. Instead of plain ground, I downloaded a grass-like texture from TurboSquid. This will help the scene look more like a real forest floor. In the next steps, I will continue improving the layout and making everything look completer and more natural

My garden project is a simple 3D space that will become a peaceful garden area. Right now I started with basic shapes like a flat ground and a blue box to plan the layout of the space. I plan to change the ground to green to create a grass-like color so it looks more like a garden. Later I will add more details like plants, paths, and other objects to make the space feel calm and relaxing.

Maze Game User testing feedback 2026

When users played my maze game, many users said it was easy to win. But users also said it was hard because there was no light, so users could not see well. Many users found mistakes in the game. For example, users had trouble turning all the way around in a full circle.

Next time, I will add light so users can see better. I will fix the mistakes in the game and make moving around smoother. I will also make the game a little harder, so it is more fun and not too easy.

This is a simple 3D scene i made in Godot with a small platform and a box-shaped structure that you can go inside. There is a narrow ramp that leads up to the platform, making it feel like a path for a character to walk on. The shapes are basic and clean, which makes it easy to understand how everything is placed. It looks like an early practice level used to test movement or ideas before adding more details and colors. This supposed to be a bridge

In this game scene, I made a simple wall. I walked my player around the wall to test it. at first i had a little trouble but I wanted to make sure my player could not go through the wall. When I walked into the wall, my player stopped, and that showed me it was working. I also checked to make sure my player did not fall while moving around. This test helped me see if my game was working the right way. Even though it is a small thing, it is very important. Walls help keep the player safe and inside the game world.
