Scavenger Hunt Game

Here’s my scavenger hunt progect. I filled the level with blocks to cover the items you need to collect. I added a counter for the amount of drum pieces you need to get. There are 9 in total.

I was able to apply animations and sound to every individual collectible.

Scavenger Hunt Progress 2

I built the processes I need for the items and made the room for the level. I added sounds to the items and added collision to non-collectibles. I also made a game over screen.

Scavenger Hunt Concept

My idea for the scavenger hunt game was going to be finding the scattered pieces of a drum set in a warehouse. I modeled the drums and cymbals that were going to be used.

Garden Update

I modeled the stone structure and the rock wall from the reference I was using. I’m going to apply the proper textures in a way that doesn’t make them look stretched out.

Garden Project Blog

I was only able to set up a basic room. I plan on building on this more.

I plan to make something akin to the Chao Garden from Sonic Adventure 2, but I’ll need to learn how to build realistically shaped terrain.

Here’s my maze game. I made the maze a bit too big, so i increased the speed of the character to accommodate. There’s going to be another side of the maze after getting past the cylinder platforms. I also need to add sound to the game.

Godot Maze Gameplay

I ended up making the maze a bit too big, but to compensate, I increased the player speed, so I don’t have to refit everything. I plan to add the walls and also find a way for the spiral platforms to rotate.

Maze Progress

Here’s a basic layout of the maze’s outer layer. I need to design a playable layout for the maze. I plan on adding keys across the map in order for there to be some interactivity within the level.
