Soy de Nueva York y empecé a aprender el español en la escuela secundaria. Ahora doy clases de español en BMCC a principiantes y a estudiantes hispanohablantes. Mi pasión es la lectura, en español e inglés, y la traducción literaria del español al inglés.

Español 211.090W es un curso de escritura intensiva enfocado en mejorar la expresión escrita de la lengua (organización, claridad, profundidad del pensamiento). Desarrolla el pensamiento crítico y la capacidad analítica a través de las lecturas que hacemos, discutimos y analizamos. Como es un curso de escritura intensiva (WI), vamos a hacer una variedad de escrituras para ampliar tu facilidad en escribir en español: escrituras informales, free-writing, y escrituras más formales y específicas. También haremos un proyecto de escritura formal con varios borradores y versiones revisadas.
