Here is a sample essay assignment.
After reading the essay guidelines, students can do the following:
- Pick your topic from the list and post it on Blackboard.
- In your own words describe the essay assignment: what you have to do, what relevant assignments you will be asked to submit, and anything else that seems important.
- Post 1-3 possible research questions.
- Any questions you have about the assignment (optional).
- Replies to classmates: you can comment on your classmates’ choice of topic and/ or on their research questions; you can also make suggestions about possible sources and/ or arguments about their topic.
