Today, we will go over best practices in resume writing. Come prepared and remember to reflect on your past experiences to allow for a well-detailed resume.

These panelists will be speaking about their career pathway/journey and sharing advice and resources with students about what they should be doing during college and beyond! Even to get ready for a career in the panelists’ respective fields. They will also share their experience and identify skills that helped them build their resume and assisted them get to where they are now professionally. A Q&A (question and answer session) will be offered towards the end of the presentation.

We will be having a workshop on “How to Make Meaningful Connections and Gain Relevant Experience in the Medical Fields. In this workshop, you will learn about the importance of networking and how to find meaningful information online. Our host for this workshop is Beth Cooperman, ASAP Career Specialist. She has dedicated her time to speak to you guys. It is extremely important that you attend this workshop, as Networking is a way for you to gain new information. Beth is an expert in the field, so it is also important you come up with questions you might have for her before hand.

In this training, you will learn about the duties of a mandated reporter, the social services, law enforcement etc. This two-hour web-based training is a fully narrated, interactive and features learning exercises customised for the child care professions.
