Who can attend these workshops?
While the workshops are facilitated by ASAP and open to all ASAP students, BMCC students are also welcome to attend.
I might be late to a workshop, what do I do?
The workshops are 1.5-hour long and cover important information so being late can negatively impact your understanding of the material and level engagement with other participants. Therefore, we encourage you to be on time.
If you are taking the workshop for a credit (i.e., you are on probation or wish to count attendance to meet group workshop requirements), you cannot be more than 10 minutes late in order to get credit for attendance.
I have to leave early, what do I do?
You can leave early if you have a class or an emergency. Please note that when you leave earlier, you will miss important information that can be essential to your academic success.
If you are taking the workshop for a credit (i.e., you are on probation), you are expected to miss no more than 10 minutes from the entire workshop (1.5 hours) in order to get credit for attendance.
ASAP needs my records of attendance. How do I prove I attended a workshop?
All attendance is recorded on TutorTrac and your advisors will receive the records.
