Event: Nonbinary, Trans, and Queer Students: After the Election, Now What?
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13
Time: 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM
Room: N 467
Event Description:
Rainbow Panthers is dedicating its regular Wednesday club meeting on November 13 (2:00–4:00 PM) to host an event offering nonbinary, trans, and queer students a supportive space amid the challenges following the 2024 election, as many of their identities are being targeted. This session will provide students with mindfulness strategies, a welcoming environment to share concerns, and resources to find support on campus. The event will be co-facilitated by Prof. Mo Matarese (Academic Literacy and Linguistics), the BMCC Center for Belonging and Inclusion and supported by BMCC Counseling Center.
