ASSIGNMENT AND RUBRICS
- Guidelines: Create a self-portrait in Adobe Illustrator. Sketch your portrait on paper before opening the software. Set the Artboard to 1500 X 1500px, and use a variety of tools and their respective properties (i.e: shapes, pen, pathfinder, fill, stroke etc.). Make sure to properly organize and label all your layers. Once you are happy with your vector self-portrait, export it to PNG, 1500px X 1500px, transparent background. Use AI (Google’s ImageFX or the platform of your choice) to create a raster image for the background. Combine the portrait and background with Adobe Photoshop, using filters or other tools to alter the original AI generated background (and the vector portrait if desired).

- Files to submit: 1. The sketch for your avatar | 2. The Illustrator file for your avatar (.ai) | 3. The original AI generated image (.jpg) | 4. The Photoshop file (.psd) with the AI generated background image, filters, and avatar on separate layers. | 5. The web-ready image exported to JPG at 1500 x 1500px | 6. The completed statement, exported to PDF
