Dr. Brianne Waychoff is the Co-Coordinator of both the Communication Studies AA and the Gender and Women’s Studies AA Programs at BMCC. She is also a deputy chair in the Department of Speech, Communications, and Theatre Arts. Outside of BMCC, Dr. Waychoff is the chair of the National Women’s Studies Association Community College Caucus, a member of the New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault Faculty Advisory Board, and the general co-editor of Women’s Studies Quarterly. Dr. Waychoff’s research uses performance as a method for exploring questions of gender justice. She has been a guest artist at institutions across the US and abroad.
