I have posted the discussion prompt for this week, but I want to give you some extra time. It is imperative that you do the discussion properly so that I can give you feedback for moving on with your Institutional Artifact Draft. I will create another post with some housekeeping details regarding the rest of the semester.
For TUESDAY, June 23 at 11:59 pm you should:
- Respond to discussion 6 posts
- Watch the video on Powerful Reading.
- Read Performing Gender and Intercultural Communication and watch the video below that explains gender performativity a bit more.
- Read Consent And Refusal Are Not The Only Talking Points. There is also a link to listen to it being read on the page. I encourage you to listen and read along.
- Write Journal #6 over these readings. Some of you wrote an additional journal when there was not one assigned and your numbering got off a bit. Please be sure to write a journal about these readings regardless. If you already have a Journal #6 you can label this on Journal #7.
- Write Discussion 7. PLEASE FUTURE DATE THIS POST. This is an important post where you will tell me and your classmates what you will be writing your Institutional Artifact Draft about. Please read the instructions. Note that you MUST tell us what you are writing about – it can be text, a picture, a video, etc., but link us to it and explain it. If you haven’t already or need to refresh your memory, read about the bigger assignment so you know what you are working toward.
