Comprehension of gender binary is a principle, when discussing gender binary it refers to the grouping of gender in two different, converse forms of masculine and feminine. When we are born we either classified as female or male and instantly there are “ideas” and “norms” that each gender should behave or carry out. Even though, society has definitely played a substantial role in how women and men should behave or carry out there are other factors that played substantial roles too, like religion and family that contributed to the process of these “norms”.
In our society, men were supposed to have and be in control, while women were supposed to take care and look up to them. This is a sizeable issue that has been taught since early childhood, these roles are then passed along through maturity, and both genders as stated previously have specific jobs. Explaining it more thoroughly, women are required to drop everything they want to do for their families; their own careers being one of them. Each and every one of these things unfavorably affected both genders, guiding problems of what’s called toxic masculinity and others.
Identity should not be influenced by outer forces but from its own individual. There are a lot of stereotypes due to society but, no one should have to grow up thinking that one (women/girls) should be or is always inferior and the other (men/boys) always superior.

I almost want to believe we are the problem. Reason behind that because I do not think including myself we do not make it a bigger issue. We don’t voice our opinions like we do on everything else. For instance it’s riots going on , not all for the right reasons. But because they “the activist” are making the choice to be heard for change they are actually doing something. The question is how can we overcome this problem. Because I for one know I’m not letting any man or male downgrade me because of the known role of what a women is “suppose” to do.
